Prof. Dr Gursel Turgut is widely recognized as a top cosmetic surgeon in Turkey. Dr Gursel is an accomplished surgeon who can correct many cosmetic issues, such as acne,\u00a0crooked nose,\u00a0droopy eyes, scars, and uneven skin. He has been a cosmetic surgeon for the past 27 years. Dr Gursel is a current medical staff member at Ulus Liv Hospital.<\/p>\n

In 1992, Prof. G\u00fcrsel Turgut, born in 1969, graduated with his M.D. from the Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. After starting his aesthetic plastic surgery residency at the i\u015fli Etfal Hospital’s Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic in 1994, he completed his education there in 2000. Between 1992 and 1994, he served as the head football team doctor for Galatasaray Sports Club.<\/p>\n

The same year that Prof. G\u00fcrsel Turgut was promoted to Associate Professor in the field of cosmetic surgery, after which\u00a0he opened his clinic. These procedures took place at his own Aesthetic Surgery Center in Ni\u015fanta\u015f. In 1998, he went to Cologne, Germany, for school; in 1999, he went to Hamburg, Germany, to study at the Berufgenossenchaftliches Unfallkrankenhaus Handchirurgie. In 2003, he served as a surgeon in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at a hospital in Belgium.<\/p>\n

He honed his skills as a surgeon by doing additional procedures in maxillofacial medicine. The Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University School of Medicine, the North Carolina at UNC College of Dentistry Division of Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Division of Maxillofacial Surgery were all created in 2004 in the United States of America to help professionals hone their skills in this field.<\/p>\n

In 2005, with the help of Genkord Stem Cell and Blood Bank, he also performed the first stem cell applications in the country to treat diabetic wound problems. In 2010, he acquired Genkord Stem Cell and Biotechnology A, a company in which he had previously participated in clinical research. He also persisted in his studies on stem cells, leading to the creation of the patented Stem Cell Separation Device, Apheresis Devices,\u00a0and Blood and Blood Products Separation Devices. Using this apparatus infrastructure, he continues his studies of fat-derived stem cells, tissue adhesives, and recombinant factor 8 drug manufacturing.<\/p>\n

Currently, he is working at Beykent University as a lecturer in the Department of Oral and Dental Health, Jaw and Facial Prosthesis. After perfecting his microsurgery, breast reduction, and nose aesthetics skills, Prof. G\u00fcrsel Turgut has continued performing Aesthetic Surgery at Ulus Liv Hospital.<\/p>\n
